The things I find on trail...
I constantly find things whole I'm out hiking. It seems I find bandana more than anything else, and this weekend was no exception. A nice dark blue bandana.
Today however was something completely different. As I was hiking along the Dickey Ridge Trail, I spotted something bright orange laying in the lower dry creek bed. I figured it was likely an orange trash bag. I decided to go off trail to retrieve whatever it was... didn't want to leave a big piece of trash just laying there. To my surprise it was a well use and now seriously damaged Big Agnes Zoom UL Insulated sleeping pad! This is not something a seasoned backpacker or thru-hiker would just leave behind. So... I have a mystery!
These pictures are of the Dickey Ridge Trailhead. It seems there was a fairly serious accident here! I hope everyone was okay.

I didnt do much today, but i did get in a moderate uphill climb to Dickey Hill. The way I see it - miles is miles!
